Our story
Jordy Guerrero Martinez
Founder & Owner
Guerrero Construction Group was founded by Jordy Guerrero Martinez, and his story is a little different than most builders you'll meet.
Jordy didn't learn construction in a classroom. He learned it on the job. By the early age of 6, he was spending his time outside of school alongside his father, a mason, mixing mortar and picking up the trade firsthand. By the time he was a teenager, he had worked across nearly every trade in residential construction, building years of real, hands-on experience before most people enter the workforce.
At 18, Jordy moved to West Texas. He took on a job on an oil drilling rig working a 7/7 schedule, one week on, one week off. During his weeks off, he was out remodeling and building. After six months in the oilfield, he left and committed to construction full time, spending the remainder of his time in West Texas doing residential and commercial construction work.
At 20, he returned to Alabama, obtained his Alabama Unlimited Residential Home Builders License and founded Guerrero Construction Group LLC, bringing together everything he has learned through years of hard work into a company built on integrity, quality, and genuine craftsmanship.
